September 25, 1839 

JENKINS, ANN - Died, on Monday morning the 16th inst., Ann, wife of David Jenkins, Esq., of Monroe township.  She bore her last illness which was short and painful with great Christian patience and meekness, she has left a husband and several children with a large circle of relatives and acquaintances to mourn her loss.  But their loss is her gain and she is now at rest, where care and pain is not known.
