WELLS, ABSOLAN B. - In this place on Monday the 20th inst., at the National Home, Mr. Absolan B. Wells. Mr. Wells (line in filmstrip) Pioneer, Capt. Bell, very unwell. Every attention was paid him, and every thing done which could contribute to his recovery. Dr. Abbott was his attending physician, who called in Drs., Sabin, Keifer and Lafevre;--but his disease baffled every effort to save him. Mr. W. was a young man, about 26 years of age, and has left, as we understand, a widowed mother and large connection, in Geauga county, to mourn his death. Every praise is due Mr. Barrett, of the National, at whose hands he received the most kind attention and care. Return to Main Page
