FAIR, ABRAM - Sad Accident - Just as we are going to press, we hear of a sad accident which happened today in Tippecanoe. About 11 o'clock this morning Abram, the youngest son of Peter Fair, the Express Agent at that place, took up a gun loaded with shot which was standing in the office. He was immediately warned by an elder brother that it might be loaded, and finally the latter took the gun from Abram and was in the act of uncocking it, when the charge exploded, and the gun unfortunately being pointed towards Abram, the whole top of his head was literally blown off. His death was of course instantaneous. His father and family have the sincere sympathy of the whole community in their sad bereavement.
