VANTILBURG, THOMAS -
Springcreek - Thomas Vantilburg died last Tuesday night at the Memorial hospital
in Piqua. He had been in that institution since New Year's day, suffering
from a complication of diseases. He had been making his home for some time
with Ward Russell and family when he was taken ill. He was born in
Greenville, January 8, 1847. He was survived by a widow, six sons and five
daughters, of whom Mrs. John Speelman, Jr., and Mrs. John Ketzel live here.
The funeral was held Friday afternoon in the Piqua U. B. church, Rev. Kilbourn,
a boyhood friend officiating. Burial in Forest Hill cemetery.
