HOOVER, RACHEL - Rachel Hoover died September 10th at her home in Covington, death resulting from a stroke of paralysis.  She was born in December, 1826.  She was united in marriage to Emanuel Hoover who died about 14 years ago.  Two sons and two daughters survive.  Mrs. Hoover had spent the greater part of her life, in the old homestead and was widely and favorable known.  She was a member of the conservative branch of the German Baptist church.  The funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Tuesday forenoon in the Harris Creek church and were conducted by Rev. Mohler.  Interment in Harris Creek cemetery.
