COPELAND, PAUL A. - Services for Paul A. Copeland, 68, of Spring Valley, brother of Dean Copeland of Tipp City, were conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia. Mr. Copeland, a Dayton Tire and Rubber retiree, died March 12 at Greene Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He was a U.S. Army South Pacific Theatre veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Talbott) Copeland; a daughter, Mrs. Neil Wolfe (Teresa) of Xenia; one son, Steve Copeland of Fairborn; step-children, Tracy Bradley of Xenia and Tim Grooms of Bellbrook; two granddaughters, three step-grandsons; three step-granddaughters; the brother in Tipp City and two other brothers, Don Copeland and Ken Copeland, both of Dayton; two sisters, Eskie Hart of Okeana and Norma Smith of Adams County, Ohio; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Joan (Nunley) Copeland, June 16, 1994; his parents, Asa Odean and Gay (Rodrick) Copeland; four brothers and two sisters. Memorial contributions may be made to the Spring Valley Township Fire Department.
