RITENOUR, OSCAR - Ludlow Falls--Oscar Ritenour died February 8 at his home west of here, death being due to a brain tumor which was the result of a previous accident.  His health began to fail him last August his condition becoming so serious that he was taken to the hospital at Dayton where he was treated for a time but as he did not improve much he returned to his home only to suffer as before until released by death.  He was born in Randolph county, Indiana, Oct. 16, 1876, and was a son of Daniel and Allie Ritenour.  He was married June 14, 1896, to Mary E. Weaver, who together with one daughter, Hazel, his mother, four sisters and three brothers, survive him.  An infant daughter, his father and two brothers preceded him in death.  He had only lived in this community a few years but during his short stay among us he gained a large circle of friends who sadly deplore his untimely death.  Mrs. Ritenour, too, has the deep sympathy of the entire community.  The funeral was held at the Friends church here Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. Mr. Harris, pastor of the West Milton Friends church.  Interment was made in West Milton cemetery.  His mother, a sister, Mrs. Minnie Black of Portland, Ind., and a brother, Adam Ritenour of Byrkettsvile, Ind., were here to attend the funeral.
