WIDOW
OF GEORGE CRON DIES AFTER LENGTHY ILLNESS
Mrs. Margaret Jane Cron, 80, widow of George Cron, whose residence is 302
Cleveland street, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday following a lingering illness. Born
in Olathe, Kansas, November 19, 1863, she had resided in Piqua for 52 years and
was a member of the Congregational Church and a life member of the Eastern Star.
She leaves six children, Arthur of Missoula, Mont., Raymond of Dayton; Gale of
Missoula, Mont., Mrs. Cora Hennessey of Piqua, Edgar of Greenville, Texas, and
Howard of Middletown; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Moberly of Supply, Okla., four
brothers, C. G. Johnson of Reno, Okla., Perry Johnson of Olathe, Kansas, and
John Johnson of Chickasha, Okla., 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The body was taken to the J. C. Cron and Sons funeral home where services will
be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with burial in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday afternoon and evening
and Wednesday.
