FUNERAL NOTICE
Funeral services for Mrs. Almeda Cron, wife of the late A.
J. Cron, will be held from the home of her son, Mr. Leonard Cron, 122 Staunton
Street, East Piqua, on Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock.
Interment at Forest Hill.

Mrs. Marion Bertling has been in Columbus for the past week, called there by the
sickness of her mother, Mrs. Almeda Alice Cron, whose death occurred on Sunday.
Mrs. Bertling will return home on Wednesday.

WIDOW OF H. A. CRON DIES SUNDAY
Mrs. Almeda Alice Cron, widow of the late H. A. Cron, passed away at her home in
Columbus, Ohio, on Sunday morning. Mrs.
Cron was born in Piqua on March 6, 1853, and had made this city her home until
her removal to Columbus twenty-one years ago. She is survived by five sons,
Frank, James and Eugene, of Columbus, Roy, of Plain City, Ohio, and Leonard, of
Piqua; three daughters, Mrs. Marion Bertling, of Piqua, Mrs. John Lortz and Mrs.
Clinton McFarland, both of Columbus, one sister, Mrs. Aduska Jefferies, of
Piqua; two brothers, Dorsey Noland, of Richmond, Indiana, and Dimmith Noland, of
San Francisco, California. There will be a short funeral service at her
late home in Columbus on Tuesday evening and the remains will be brought to
Piqua on Wednesday morning and taken directly to the Methodist church, where
another service will be held followed by interment at Forest Hill Cemetery.
