HELMAN, MRS. FLOSSIE - Mrs. Flossie May Helman, 37, succumbed to a lingering illness of four years at her home, 1018 Caldwell street, Piqua, Tuesday evening, Jan. 24. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock at the late residence and at 1:30 at the Church of the Brethren on Boal avenue. Rev. Charles L. Flory officiated with burial in the Fletcher cemetery. Mrs. Helman was born near Troy, Dec. 21, 1896, the daughter of Oliver and Christian Blalock; now residing at Houston. Mrs. Helman lived in the Houston vicinity before moving to Piqua which city had been her home the last seven years. Surviving are her parents; husband, Samuel Helman; five daughters, Ollie, Ethel, Ruth, Dorothy, and Marjory; three step-sons, Emery, Jesse and Noah, all at home; one sister, Mrs. Callie Ike, of near Toledo, and one brother, Orlie Blalock, of Lakeview.
