CROTINGER, MRS. SUSAN - Mrs. Susan Crotinger of near Dupont, Ohio, was born July 9, 1814, in Lower Canada, departed this life July 10, 1910, aged 96 years and one day.  At the age of 15 years she came to Ohio and lived her till her death.  She was united in marriage to Peter Crotinger in 1843 in Union county, Ohio.  To this union were born nine children, one having preceded her to the Great Beyond.  She was a consistent Christian and kept the faith until death.  Her generosity was limited only by opportunity and means in life.  She tried to faithfully perform her duty as she saw it, holding herself responsible to her conscience, knowing that she might meet death at any time.  She leaves to mourn their loss her husband, eight children, 26 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild and a host of friends.  Her surviving children are John Crotinger, Bradford; Joe Crotinger, Colton; Peter Crotinger, Cloverdale; Frank Crotinger, Oakwood; Mrs. Short, Bradford; Mrs. Coffman, Piqua; Mrs. Menard, Oakwood; Mrs. Miller, Oppelo, Arkansas.  Interment in the Antioch cemetery, Rev. Bailey of Ft. Jennis officiating.
