JORDAN, MRS. MARY E. - Lookout--Mrs. Mary E. Jordan died March 16 at her home near Mt. Pleasant church.  The cause of her death was consumption with which she had been afflicted more than 16 years.  She had suffered intensely for several weeks.  She was past 52 years of age and was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Slusser.  She is survived by her husband, two daughters, a son, seven grandchildren, her aged mother, two brothers and many other relatives.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist church.  The funeral was held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the St. Paris Baptist church and was conducted by the Rev. N. Y. Matthews.  Interment at Spring Grove cemetery.
