CRESS, MRS. MARY - Mrs. Mary Cress died Tuesday evening, Nov. 1, at her home in Potsdam.  For several weeks she had been in failing health de to the infirmities of old age, she being past 83 years of age.  All her life was spent in Union township where she was widely known and much respected.  She is survived by five daughters and one son.  She was a member of the Christian church and her funeral was held Saturday morning from the church of that denomination at Laura.
