HELMICK, MRS. LUCY

HELMICK, MRS. LUCY - Pleasant Hill--Mrs. Lucy Helmick was the daughter of Jacob and Christena Sease and was born May 23, 1870.  She died July 24, 1910.  She was united in marriage with Frank Helmick March 6, 1890, and to this union were given two children, Mrs. Arthur Smith of Sugar Grove and George Raymond Helmick yet at home with his father.  Lucy joined the Church of the Brethren early in life and lived a loyal member of that church and a true Christian life.  She leaves husband, daughter, son, three brothers and one sister.  The funeral service was held in the Church of the Brethren Wednesday, July 27th and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. Isaac Frantz, assisted by Rev. Mohler of Circle Hill.  The singing was by a mixed choir from all the churches.  The Beery people with whom Mr. Helmick is engaged attended in a body.  There was a large audience showing the appreciation in which she was held in the village and the surrounding country.  Interment in Pleasant Hill cemetery.         UNCLE JAKE
