JAY, MRS. LOUIE E. CRITTEN -
Ludlow Falls--Mrs. Louie E. Critten Jay died Sunday, Nov. 13, at Columbus.
Death was due to peritonitis. She had been ill only a week and died at the
Protestant hospital. She was the daughter of F. J. and Sarah Critten and
was born near West Milton January 10, 1884. She was married to Ray Jay
Dec. 8, 1902 and he and her father, two brothers and two sisters survive her.
The funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 16, from the home, 623 Edwards
street, Columbus, and were conducted by the pastor of the Christian church.
Interment in Columbus cemetery. Her entire life was spent near West
Milton, until the past eight years during which she has lived in Columbus.
She was a member of the U. B. church. She was highly respected by all who
knew her. She was of a kind and lovable disposition and that she had a
host of friends was evidenced by the number of beautiful floral tributes that
were banked upon the casket.
