LONG, MRS. LINA - Mrs. Lina Long, wife of George S. Long, died early this (Thursday) morning after an illness of two or three years resulting from a compilation of diseases.  Mrs. Long was a daughter of Captain and Mrs. J. N. Wellier and was born in Princeton, Ill., in 1863.  She married George S. Long June 2, 1887, and he together with one son, Frederick, aged 23, survive to mourn the loss of wife and mother.  Father and son have been at her bedside for several weeks and the sympathy of the entire community goes out to them.  Mrs. Long was a woman of unusual intellect and great strength of character and her death will be a source of grief to many.  The funeral will be held at the home at 1:30 o'clock, Saturday afternoon.
