WHITE, MRS. LILLIAN -
Covington--The remains of the late Mrs. Lillian White of Toledo arrived in this
city Sunday, accompanied by the family and relatives and were taken to the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Rudy on North High street, where the funeral obsequies were
held Monday. The deceased was 26 years old and was well known in this
city. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zachariah Welbaum, who formerly
resided east of town. The mother passed away several years ago and since
that time the father made his home with the daughter near Toledo. To this
sad demise, the surviving members of the family are the husband, two small
daughters, a father, two sisters and seven brothers. The funeral service
was conducted by Rev. Isaac Frantz of Pleasant Hill and the body was laid to
rest in the Pleasant Hill cemetery by the side of her mother. Mrs. White
was reared in Newton township and was well esteemed by all who knew her.
She was a member of the church of the Brethren. The family is very
grateful to all for their kindness during their bereavement.
