JOHNSON, MRS. JOSEPH C. - Mrs. Lorelia C. Johnson, daughter of Dr. William C. and Nancy S. Cox, was born at Plattsville Jan. 20, 1858, and died at the Brantner home in Conover July 17th, of valvular heart trouble.  May 12, 1878, she was married to Joseph Johnson.  She is survived by the husband, one daughter, two sons, a sister and two brothers.  Mrs. Johnson came from her home in Monroe, Mich., on May 15th hoping to regain her health among the scenes and friends of her early life but her frail body soon succumbed to the disease.  She was a member of the Universalist church and of the order of Eastern Star.  Funeral services were held at the home of A. J. Brantner in Conover, on July 19th, conducted by Rev. Blackford.  Interment in Fletcher cemetery.
