FREY, MRS. JESSE -
Covington--The funeral obsequies of the late Mrs. Jesse Frey were held Sunday
morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Church of the Brethren. The deceased was a
woman who had a large circle of friends, and was well known and respected in
this community. Having resided for several years on the Ratcliff farm,
east of town, and just removed to the Madison Himes farm, north of town, about
three weeks ago. Mrs. Frey was seemingly in good health until very
suddenly overcome by a stroke of apoplexy, and after several hours of suffering
succumbed to death, at the age of 69 years. In this sad demise, the
surviving members of the family are the husband, three daughters and five sons,
to revere her memory. The large church was crowded by sympathizing
friends. The services were conducted by Rev. George Flory, assisted by Dr.
A. S. Rosenberger, and interment was in the Highland cemetery
