MRS. FRED RAUSCHER EXPIRES AT HOSPITAL  

Passing Occurs Last Night Following Caesarean Operation Week Ago  

Mrs. Freda Cron Rauscher, wife of Forrest Rauscher, 1019 West North street, for a number of years a popular teacher of the Piqua public schools died at 8:30 o’clock Wednesday night at Memorial hospital where she submitted to a Caesarean operation a week ago. Florence Freda Cron was born in Fletcher, September 11, 1897, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Cron.  She was a member of the graduating class of Piqua High school in 1915.  She was also a graduate of Ohio Northern University at Ada.  On October 6, 1934, she was united in marriage to Forrest Rauscher, who survives her. Besides her husband she leaves a week-old son, Robert Lewis, her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Cron, two brothers, Forrest and Alva, and one sister, Rose Swob, of Piqua, in addition to a host of friends and relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, at four o’clock, at the Wagner Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Forest Hill cemetery. Friends wishing to pay their respects may call at the Wagner Funeral home at any time Friday evening.
