LAUFER, MRS. FRED - Mrs. Fred Laufer died at her home in Troy Wednesday morning having suffered a stroke of paralysis the afternoon before.  Mrs. Laufer whose maiden name was Bertha Eckerle was born in Germany 69 years ago last November.  She came to this country when 29 years of age and 39 years ago married Mr. Laufer in Cincinnati.  Her husband died several years ago.  She is survived by three sons, William, John and Fred, and two daughters, Caroline and Anna.  She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic church.  The funeral will be held in the church at 9 o'clock Monday morning.  Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
