OWENS, MRS. ELIZABETH R. - An extended illness ended the life of Mrs. Elizabeth R. Owens Tuesday night at her home in Union.  She had been ailing for two years before her death.  Mrs. Owens was born 80 years ago near Beavertown, and spent most of her life in and near that village.  About 25 years ago she removed to Union with her husband.  Surviving her is her husband, Ira Owens.  The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the house, and the remains will be interred in the Beavertown cemetery.
