JACKSON, MRS. CHARLES - Mrs.
Charles Jackson of near Houston, died suddenly at her home on Monday afternoon,
shortly after dinner. Paralysis was the cause. Only two weeks ago a
son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Jackson, and the mother had been getting along
nicely. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Pleasant Hill, and a member of the
Church of the Brethren in that town. She is survived by her husband and
three children, the baby boy of two weeks, a girl of six, and a boy of eleven.
The funeral was held Thursday. A short service was held at the house at 9
o'clock in the morning, after which the remains were taken to Pleasant Hill
where services were held in the Church of the Brethren at 2 o'clock in the
afternoon. The interment was in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
