URMEY, MRS. BARBARA ELLEN -
Mrs. Barbara Ellen Urmey, aged 79, widow of John A. Urmey, died Friday afternoon
at four o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Laura Battson, at Covington,
O. Death was principally due to old age. The deceased was born in
Cumberland county, Maryland, May 17, 1832, and came to this part of the country
when she was a young woman. She is survived by five children, among them
Mrs. Mary Waymire of Dayton. Funeral services were held Monday morning at
ten o'clock at Grace M. E. church in Dayton and the remains will be interred in
the Urmey cemetery, west of Dayton.
