FUNK, MRS. ANNA CRUIKSHANK - Mrs. Anna Cruikshank Funk, for 45 years a nurse, died at her home on North Elm street, Sunday night. She had been ill seven weeks the infirmities of old age hastening her death. She was born May 19, 1827, in Lancaster county, Pa., and came to Troy in 1858. Her husband who was a veteran of the Civil war, died many years ago. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Mattie Putnam who lived with her, and one brother, A. J. Cruikshank who lived in the country. The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First M. E. church and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. G. F. Barber. Burial in Riverside cemetery.
