LINN, MRS. ANN ELIZABETH - Hetzler's Corner--Our oldest citizen, Mrs. Ann Elizabeth Linn, aged 90 years, 7 months and 24 days, departed this life Saturday, May 13 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Eldredge, who has shared her home with her mother the past 17 years.  The deceased was born in Butler county and was a daughter of David and Ann Schenck.  She was twice married her first husband being John Rodgers.  Her last marriage was to Adam Linn who preceded her in death 33 years ago.  She was a devout Christian woman having held her membership with the Sidney United Presbyterian church for over 70 years.  She was a resident of Shelby county for about three-fourths of a century.  She had a remarkably good memory for a person of her age and loved to read newspapers, and good books.  During the past winter she read the contents of 16 different books.  She leaves two sisters--Mrs. Jane Rodgers of St. Louis aged 92 years and Mrs. Ellen Wical of Middletown, aged a few years younger than herself.  Her children now living are Wm. A. Linn of Sidney, Walter A. Linn of Dayton, Mrs. Lydia Reynolds of Keokuk, Iowa, Mrs. S. M. Martin of Shelby county, Mrs. Allie Rauth of Wapakoneta and Mrs. J. C. Eldredge.  Her grandchildren number 18 and her great-grandchildren 31.  Funeral services were held from the home Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. conducted by her pastor, Rev. Moore of Sidney.  Interment in Graceland cemetery, Sidney.
