GROSS, MRS. AMANDA -
Covington--Mrs. Amanda Gross, 65, a resident of this place, died Sunday evening
at 10 o'clock while on a visit at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clara Beher, at
Columbus, O. Mrs. Gross went to Columbus on Saturday, July 27th to visit
her daughters, Mrs. Beher and Mrs. Harrison and was taken ill with pneumonia,
shortly after arriving there, which proved fatal. Her remains were brought
to Covington, Tuesday, and taken to her late home on North Main street.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the
Presbyterian church. Interment at Highland cemetery.
