BRADFORD - Robert E. (Bob) Reed, 72, of Bradford, died unexpectedly at Upper Valley Medical Center on April 16, 2012.
Bob was born Oct. 26, 1939, in Bradford, to the late Robert and Ruth (Warner) Reed.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna Horner Reed; daughter, Deborah (Larry) Barger of Bradford; sons Rocky (Tammy) Reed of Greenville and Rex (Denise) Reed of Jackson, S.C. and also a brother, Tim (Carol) Reed of Bradford.
In addition to his children, he is survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bob attended Bradford Schools and spent his early years in construction and the last 20 years of his employment with the Versailles Schools.
He was an avid fisherman and during the years, 1987 through 1992, traveled with his wife, brother-in-law and sister-in-law through all 48 continuous states and six of the Canadian provinces all on the back of a Harley. What trips!
Bob was a life-time member of H.O.G. (Harley Owner's Group) and a member of the Bradford Church of the Brethren.
A celebration of life will be held at the Bradford Church of the Brethren 
at 6 p.m. Thursday with a meal following in the church fellowship hall. Pastor John Shelton will be officiating with the assistance of Nathan Paulus.
