Mrs. Humburger's death came at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Mercy Hospital, Bay City, where she had been a patient for the past three months. Her death followed an illness of some six years of leukemia.

Myrtle May McDowell, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose McDowell, was born at Troy, Ohio, May 9, 1893. She attended the Sprague School of Music, at Dayton, Ohio, where she studied vocal and instrumental music.
