Harvey C. Miller is Claimed By Death

Harvey C. Miller, R.R. 2, died at his home Monday evening at 6:35 o'clock following seven months serious illness. Mr. Miller had been in Stouder Memorial hospital 2 1/2 weeks before being removed to his home last Thursday. Mr. Miller was born August 21, 1891, in Trotwood, the son of Samuel and Susan Miller. He was married on June 10, 1911, in Trotwood to Miss Stella Dorn. he had been a farmer all his life, moving to this community 18 years ago. He had resided at his farmplace at Cowlesville the past eight years. Surviving are one son, Granville; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Hiatt, Mrs. Myrna Genslinger and Mrs. Helen Hornbeck, all of Cowlesville; two brothers, Chester and Emerson, of Dayton; five sisters, Mrs. Susie Wagoner, Modesto, Calif., Mrs. Cora Lentz, Brookville; Mrs. Martha Hicks, Troy; Mrs. Mary Hetzler, Vandalia; Mrs. Bessie Stoner, of Dayton, and six grandchildren.  Mr. Miller was a member of Middle District church at the Brethren and services will be conducted from that church this (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30 p.m. Rev. C.V. Coppock and Ralph Brumbaugh will officiate at the service. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery. Pall bearers are John Dorn, and Charles Kern, Brookville; Oscar Dorn and Andy Stoner, of Dayton; Cleve Hetzler, of Vandalia and Lester Hicks of Troy.
