McBEE, DR. LOUISE A. - Dr. Louise A. McBee, 78, of 6305 Heffner Rd., Tipp City, OH, died Monday, June 3, 1996 at home.  Born in Champaign, IL, she was the daughter of the late Paul W. and Linda Utter Allen and wife of the late John Adair McBee who died in 1968.  She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she received her B.A. in 1938 and M.S. in 1939.  From 1943 to 1944 she did graduate studies at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.  In 1944 she was appointed Study Assistant to the Department of Pathology and Bacteriology for the New York State Veterinary College at Cornell University, a position she held until 1950.  In 1951, she held the position of Technician of Veterinarian Virus Research Institute at Cornell.  She received her Ph. D from Cornell in 1952 and later spent three years as a fellow at the Royal Academy of Tropical Disease in London, England.  In 1956, she returned to the United States where she made her home in Tipp City.  She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Retired Officers Assoc. (TROA).  Dr. McBee is survived by several cousins including Ralph S. Hayes of Tipp City.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 10, 1996 in the E. C. Wagner Funeral Home of Ithaca, NY, Rev. Anita Cummings officiating.  Burial will be East Lawn Cemetery, Ithaca.  Friends may call from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
