ROOP, MYRTLE - Myrtle Roop, 66, of 1332 Peters road, Troy, died last week after an extended illness.  She was the mother of William Roop and mother-in-law of Mrs. Norma Roop of 405 Tipp-Cowlesvile road, both employees of A. O. Smith Corporation.  Mrs. Roop is also survived by her husband, Willard, two daughters; three brother; two sisters; and six grandchildren.  Services were held at the First Baptist church with Pastor Doublas Peters officiating.  Burial was in Riverside cemetery.  Memorial contributions were made to the First Baptist church building fund.
