CONOVER, KARL M. - Karl M. Conover, age 79, of Tipp City, passed away Thursday, June 20, 1996 at Stouder Hospital after a lengthy illness.  He was a retired Plumber from Local No. 162 Plumbers & Pipefitters.  He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran.  A member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and of the Dayton Ramblers.  He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Martha of Mercy Sienna Home; 2 daughters, Patricia Gillette of Lancaster, PA and Ellen & husband, Allyn Kratz of Colorado Springs, Co; 3 sons, Timothy & wife, Sue Conover of Macon, Mo, James Conover of Macon, Mo, and Christopher & wife, Mary Frances Conover of Tipp City; 2 sisters, Evelyn Donohue of Columbus and Marjean & husband, Fred Field of Middletown; 2 brothers, Fred & wife, Helen Conover of Phoenix, AZ and George & wife, Margaret Conover of Gulf Breeze, FL; 3 grandchildren.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 24, 1996 at 10 A.M. at St. Christopher Catholic Church, Vandalia with Father Robert Monnin officiating.  Burial in Poplar Hill Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 until 4 P.M. at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County.
