HOUGHTON, (SON OF MR. R. E. HOUGHTON) - A son of Mr. R. E. Houghton who resides in the northern part of Staunton township--a young man about 18 years of age--was so badly injured by the kick of a mule on the 31st ult. that he died in 24 hours thereafter.  Mr. H. has a farm in the neighborhood of St. Marys, and it was upon this farm that the young man was engaged when the accident occurred.
