COX, EDITH MARIE - Edith Marie Cox, 76, of 215 W. Monument St., Pleasant Hill, died June 4 in Dettmer Hospital.  Born March 12, 1900, she was a daughter of Lloyd and Catherine Cruea.  She was preceded in death by her husband Alva Burten Cox in 1963.  Surviving are a daughter, Marguerite Swartz Maurer of Tipp City; a son, Charles Cox of Phoenix; two sisters, Eva Jacobs of Troy and Margaret Asher of Troy; seven grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.  A retired employee of the Cable Dry Cleaning Store in Troy, she was a member of the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.  Private funeral services were June 5 at the Jackson Funeral Home in Pleasant Hill.  The Rev. Robert Blake officiated.  Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  The family requests contributions may be made to the Greenville Brethren Home.
