CUSHWA, MISS MARY - West Charleston--Miss Mary Cushwa died March 17, at her home here of heart trouble.  She was born Feb. 9, 1838, near here and was a daughter of Benjamin and Sophia Engle Cushwa.  She never married.  "Aunt Mary," as she was familiarly known, was never known to become angry or cross with anyone and never spoke a harmful word against anyone.  Everyone speaks in highest terms of her and she was loved by all. One sister, Anna, and a brother, James, survive her.  She was a member of the Brethren church from which the funeral was held Monday being conducted by Rev. Jacob Coppock.  Interment at West Charleston cemetery.
