YOUART, MISS LIZZIE - At the residence of her parents in Troy, July 11th, 1865.  Miss Lizzie Youart, in the 26th year of her age.  Her disease was consumption, which rapidly hurried her from perfect health to the cold and silent grave.  Her sufferings were very great, yet she endured them, and only with patience and resignation but with a true Christian heroism.  Miss Youart had long been a consistent member of the Main Street Presbyterian Church, in this place, and had adorned her life by a Godly walk, and a strict performance of her duties to the community, to the church and to the family.  It was, however, reserved for her to manifest the power and greatness of the Christian religion on her death bed.  With her, the love of Jesus was ever present, and hope had almost become fruitlen and faith a present reality.  She said to her friends, "Weep not for me, I am going home to Jesus.  Seek the Savior's pardoning mercy, embrace him now, and soon we shall be re-united."  Thus departed Lizzie Youart, loved by all who knew her, and deeply mourned by her surviving friends; but not as those without hope, for here was the death of the righteous.                                     S.
