OVERCASH, MICHAEL - Covington--Monday afternoon funeral services for the late Michael Overcash were held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. David Rench, on North High street.  The deceased was widely known in this community and had been a prosperous farmer of Newton township for many years until after the death of his wife.  Since then he has made his home with his children.  For several months he has been at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rench, and was tenderly cared for during his illness.  Saturday morning he peacefully passed away at the advance age of 84 years.  The surviving members of the family are two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Goodyear of West Milton, Mrs. David Rench and one son, John Overcash of Circle Hill, Ohio, and several grandchildren.  The services were officiated by Rev. Enos Pemberton of Laura and Rev. G. A. Connibear and interment was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
