Marie Fleming  

Marie K. Fleming, 74, of 249 First, died Tuesday at 10 p.m. in Piqua Memorial Hospital.  She had been seriously ill one day. Born in Piqua on April 7, 1901, she was the daughter of Lucius C. and Myrtle Crapsey Cron.  She was the widow of Oren J. Fleming who died on Oct. 8, 1972.  They were married in 1936. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Miriam Roesser, Piqua; two grandchildren, Mrs. Donald Polhamus (Cheryl) and Donald Saint, both of Piqua; two great grandchildren; and one brother and one sister, Floyd Cron and Mrs. George Greenback (Helen), both of Piqua.  One daughter and a brother are deceased.  Mrs. Fleming was a member of the East Side Literary Club. Funeral services will be Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Cron-Cheney Funeral Home, Piqua.  The Rev. Charles Johnson will officiate and burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
