Miami Union

June 10, 1865 

CULBERTSON, JOSEPH C. - At the residence of his father in this town, on Saturday morning inst. after an illness of less than two days, Joseph C. Culbertson, in the 42d year of his age.  Mr. C. was several years Teller, and for a short time, before its close, Cashier of the Miami County Branch of the State Bank, and on the organization of the First National Bank here, he was made its Cashier, which position he still occupied at his death.  He was an excellent and upright business man, and kind-hearted and true friend.  He leaves no family--never having married--but a father and mother, and a number of brothers and sisters, and other relatives, and a large circle of friends to lament his sudden and unexpected death.
