McKEE, JOHN - Word was received by friends Monday from Jacksonville, Florida from Mrs. John McKee, stating that Mr. McKee, her husband, had died Sunday evening, following an operation at a hospital in St. Augustine, Florida.  His mother, wife and daughter were with him.  They have been living at Palm Beach for about a year.  Mr. McKee went to Florida for his health.  The body will be brought to Piqua for burial and the remains will be taken to the home of Martin Shafer on Young street, in Piqua, where the services will be held.  Mr. McKee was about forty-five years of age and was born and raised in Shelby county west of Lockington, and lived on his farm there until about a year ago, when he went south.  He has been spending the winters in Florida for several years.
