HART, JOHN M. - John M. Hart died Thursday, May 25, in St. Louis at midnight, at the home of his son, James Hart, his death being the result of a stroke of paralysis.  Mr. Hart went from Piqua to St. Louis in April to visit his son, and was stricken with his fatal illness last Saturday.  He was born in Port Jefferson and was 73 years of age.  He had resided nearly all of his life in Piqua.  For several years he lived in Alcony, conducted a grocery store and was postmaster there.  His wife, who was formerly Miss Fannie Levering, of Piqua, died in 1895.  He is survived by two sons, James Hart, of St. Louis, and Robert Hart, of Richmond, Ind.  The remains were brought to Piqua and taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. W. B. Smith, where the funeral services were held.
