JOHNSTON, JOHN K. - Covington --John K. Johnston, a former resident of Covington , and a brother of E. R Johnston and F. W. Johnston of this city, died at Fort Bayard, New Mexico, on Wednesday, March 16, of tuberculosis.  The deceased was well known in this vicinity for his ability as a violinist, but as he could not keep his health in this climate he left for Texas about ten years ago, partially regaining his health in that state, but finally succumbed to the dread disease.  Besides two brothers residing here, Mr. Johnston had one brother, James, whose house is in San Antonio, Texas.   At his request the funeral services were held in Fort Bayard and the remains were also interred at that place.
