COON, JOHN H. - Possum Hollow--John H. Coon was born October 4, 1851, and died June 16, 1910, after having been ill about a year although able to be about part of the time.  He was married to Miss Rachel Corry and to this union were born five children, Robert, Jennie, Mary, Golda and Lila, all of whom survive him.  He wife died last September.  He was buried at Pleasant Hill Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, services being held at the Church of the Brethren, Rev. Enos Pemberton officiating.  Our hearts go out in sympathy to the bereaved children who have lost both parents in so short a time and may their hearts be comforted.
