WEAVER, JOHN A. (JACK) - Services for John Allen (Jack) Weaver, 63, of 706 W. Main St., Tipp City, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, Tipp City.  Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  Mr. Weaver, a retired Erie, Erie-Lackawanna and Conrail railroad employee, died Sept. 4 at his residence.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and was wounded in the D-Day invasion of Normandy.  He was a member and past commander of Frank E. Robinson Post 586, American Legion, and of 40 and 8 Voiture 420 of Miami County, VFW Post 4615, Disabled American Veterans, the National Model Railroad Association and the Transportations-Communications Union.  He was a drummer for the Thunderjets Post No. 5, Dayton, the Satan's Angels of Bellefountaine and the Golden Lancers Post 526 of Fairborn and 586 of Tipp City, all drum and bugle corps.  He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Weaver; three sons, Ray of Wooster and John and Roger, both of Tipp City; a daughter, Mrs. Michael Ringham (Susan) of North Carolina, a sister, Harriet S. Fisher of Pennsylvania; and five grandchildren.  Memorial contributions may be made to Gifts for Yanks or Hospice of Miami County in care of the funeral home.
