MULLENIX, JAMES L. - Services for James L. Mullenix, 79, of Springfield, brother of Dale Mullenix of Tipp City, were conducted Nov. 16 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home in Vandalia by the Rev. Marvin B. Wiseman. Burial was in Forest Hills Cemetery, Butler Township. Mr. Mullenix, a retired Delco Products supervisor, died Nov. 13 at his winter home in North Ft. Myers, Fla., after a lengthy illness. He was a charter member of the Grace Bible Church of Springfield and a life member and past president of the Vandalia Lions Club. He was a member and past master of Vandalia Lodge 742, F&AM; Scottish Rite, Valley of Dayton; the Tall Cedars of Lebanon and Victory Chapter, Royal Arch Masons. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte E. (Ganger) Mullenix; a daughter, Mrs. Grover Becker (Phyllis) of Dayton; the brother in Tipp City and two other brothers, Roger of Brookville and Paul of Troy; four sisters, Marjorie Wehrley and Ruth Laub, both of Vandalia, Mary-Etta Thalman of Largo, Fla., and Esther Thompson of Bradford; two grandchildren, James Becker of Tipp City and Mrs. Gary Nickell (Kim) of New Lebanon; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Max Mullenix. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Bible Church, 1500 Groop Rd., Springfield, Ohio, 45504.
