GROSS, J. N. - J. N. Gross, 51, one of Troy's former leading business men, died Wednesday night at the Dayton State hospital where he had been a patient since last March.  Mr. Gross was born in Miami county and removed to Troy where he entered into the grocery business with his brother, William Gross, later going into business for himself on Franklin street.  He is survived by a wife and three daughters, Mrs. William Doyle, and Misses Ruth and Pearl.  He was a devout member of the Baptist church and belonged to the Foresters and Knights of Pythias.
