WOLCOTT, ISAAC M. - Lena--Isaac M. Wolcott, passed away last Wednesday morning, Feb 1st at 9 a.m. at his country residence about one mile south of town after a prolonged illness of eight months with valvular heart trouble.  The deceased was born in August 1847, on the Wolcott farm adjoining his own farm and now owned by Mrs. Rebecca Wolcott, a sister-in-law.  He was a son of William and Rachel Wolcott.  His first marriage in 1872 was with Miss Arminta Cox and to this union one son, Dr. R. G. Wolcott of Troy, was born.  Mrs. Wolcott died in July, 1894.  His second marriage was with Mrs. Clara Yates Buckles and to this union, Mildred who is now 12 years of age, was born.  His wife, two sons and one granddaughter survive; also a host of sorrowing friends and neighbors.  He was a faithful member of the Baptist church at this place and had been its clerk since the death of his father who was the first clerk the church had.  For many years he held the position of Moderator in the Mad River Baptist association.  He was an active member of the Masonic order, being a member of the Blue lodge at this place of the chapter at St. Paris, Lafayette council at Piqua and also being a Knight Templar of the Coleman commandery at Troy.  The funeral services were conducted from the home Friday afternoon.  Rev. Bragg officiated.  The Blue lodge had charge with six of his Knight companions of Troy acting as pall bearers.  Interment at Fletcher.
