WISE, HUGH - Hugh Wise, aged 73, and who has been connected with the Hayner distillery for the past 43 years, had a stroke of apoplexy at the distillery Wednesday morning and at 11 o'clock that night died from its effect.  Mr. Wise was one of Troy's most respected citizens, loved by all and every one mourns his loss. His wife died a few years ago and he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Simeon Park, of Memphis, Tenn., and two sons, Walter and Elvin, of this city.  The funeral took place from the residence at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, being conducted by the Rev. J. E. Etter.  Interment at Riverside.
