WELBAUM, HOWARD E. - Howard E. Welbaum, 77, Cedar St., Casstown, died November 20 in Stouder Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.  Born May 8, 1898 in Darke County, he was the son of the late John and Laura Wolfe Welbaum.  Surviving are his wife Rozella Macy Welbaum, 13 children, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Ashman of Troy, Mrs. Raymond (Lova) Miller of Celina, Mrs. Robert (Thelma) Cannon, Mrs. Elmer (Velma) Meek, Doris Stoner, Patty Huerta, all of Troy, Mr. Jack (Hope) Fry of Conover, Richard of Casstown, Harold of Florida, Jimmy and Donald, both of Troy, Jack and Garold, both of Casstown, a brother Clarence of California, two sisters, Mrs. Finley Drake of Tipp City, Mrs. Clarence Berry of Logan, 48 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.  A daughter, sister, two brothers and two grandchildren preceded him in death.  Welbaum was a member of the Troy Moose and Redmen and Tipp City Eagles.  He was a retired tool maker.  Services were Saturday at Deeter-Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Rev. Kenneth Martin officiated.  Burial was in Casstown Cemetery.
